Ideal for a holiday with family or friends, all five (5) bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms. Tastefully decorated with understated furnishings, each guestroom has panache. The sparkling bathrooms have contemporary fixtures and l’Occitane bath products. A graceful soaker tub awaits in the master en-suite. Pick the top-floor penthouse suite for its private rooftop terrace with a view of Antibes. The ground-floor bedroom gives onto a private garden and a Turkish-style bath.

The owners lovingly restored the “grand dame,” maintaining the spacious rooms and historical character. Timeless elegance defines La Calado with the quality materials from hand-picked Carrara marble in the kitchen to Moroccan tiling in the bathrooms to rustic, repurposed wood doors.

The mix of communal and private spaces is a wonderful feature. With three separate gardens and two terraces, there’s plenty of room for guests to play, cook together, and connect with each other-or escape to some quiet time.

There are no water views, sadly, but you do enjoy an amazing panorama of Antibes and the French Alps in the distance. Also, the location can’t be beaten. You get the serenity of a country villa but the convenience of urban life. It’s just a 10-minute walk to the heart of Old Town.
