The Book Van Gogh’s Ear – The True Story
Books on Provence · Guest Post · InspireRecently, I met up with local author Bernadette Murphy, whose book ‘Van Gogh’s Ear – The True Story‘ has been such a success. It was chosen by BBC Radio 4 as their book of the week and was also the subject of a BBC2 TV documentary.
The author certainly did her research while writing this book. Murphy had to comb through archives to uncover the story behind a particular night in December 1888. When you visit Arles, visit the Fondation Van Gogh to see the current exhibition.
