Wine Club Discount from Acquiesce Winery

A Vineyard in Lodi

Acquiesce Winery, located in Lodi, California stands apart from others in this appellation known for its concentration of Zinfandel red wines. The San Francisco Chronicle included the Acquiesce Winery tasting room among its list of 52 vineyards to visit in 2020. The vineyard produces only white and rosé wines in a similar style to Rhône Valley vintages. Keep reading for details about the Acquiesce Wine Club offer for Perfectly Provence readers.

“I fell in love with a white Châteauneuf-du-Pape wine shortly after moving to California. I thought it was the best wine I ever tasted.” ~ Susan Tipton, owner

Once a retirement dream, the vineyard became a reality in 2003 when Susan and Rodney Tipton left their corporate careers. Their idea became a reality in 2003 with the purchase of an 18-acre property in Lodi, California. However, the property required much work before they could begin producing quality wine. Finally, in January 2012, the re-envisioned barn opened as the Acquiesce Winery tasting room. Rhône varietals including Grenache, Grenache Blanc, Viognier, Roussanne, Clairette Blanche, Bourboulenc and Picpoul Blanc have now replaced the Zinfandal vines.
