Anchored to its past as an elegant Provencal farmhouse in the Luberon, Les Olivettes includes four (4) spacious rental apartments. This property is private yet only a 4-minute walk from the centre of Lourmarin, a lively village with cafés, galleries, and a notable market on Friday mornings. The apartments have all the necessary amenities for a self-catered holiday base for two (2) guests.

The Apartments:

Les Olivettes is a Provencal paradise in Lourmarin, and the suites are decorated in traditional Provencal style with modern touches. Le Pastis and Le Voltaire have been fully renovated this spring, and all four apartments have the necessary amenities for a self-catered holiday base.

Accommodating two (2) guests, the four (4) self-catered apartments have terraces, large living/dining rooms, and well-equipped kitchens. The kitchenettes include Nespresso coffee machines, fruit juicers, toasters, kettles, ovens/microwaves, and refrigerators with small freezer compartments. In addition, each apartment has a colour TV, and Les Olivettes has fibre optic cable and free WiFi.

Decorated in shades of cream Le Pastis is one of the apartments at Les Olivettes. Situated on the ground floor, Le Pastis accommodates up to two (2) people. The air-conditioned apartment has a well-equipped kitchenette, a full bathroom with a walk-in shower and a separate toilet, and a living and bedroom area with a queen-size bed (1.60×2.00m). The private terrace with a magnificent view of Lourmarin and its castle is ideal for breakfast or maybe a glass of Pastis.

Le Voltaire is up one level from Le Pastis. This apartment has a king-size bed (1.80 x 2.00) that can convert into two (2) single beds. The bathroom has a large shower stall. Additional space outside the suite on a private mezzanine gives onto a furnished south-facing balcony.

Le Genêt is French for the Spanish broom, a flowering bush. The apartment, decorated in pastel blues and cream, has a king-size bed (1.80 x 2.00) that can be made as one or two single beds. In addition, there are magnificent views of the Château de Lourmarin and beyond. The bathroom has an oversized shower stall.

Le Zidane, named after a local French football hero, is decorated with references to North Africa. There is a small double bedroom (1.40 x 2.00) and a good-sized bathroom with a shower. This apartment has a sizeable indoor-outdoor terrace meant for the southern climate. A portion of the deck includes covered seating and a dining area.

The Property:

Mature olive trees line the entry to Les Olivettes – a classic welcome to Provence. The property includes several seating areas for enjoying the Mediterranean garden with lavender, roses, jasmine, and other native plants. During the hotter months, the large heated swimming pool surrounded by sunbeds is a tempting way to spend part of the day.

The pool house has a summer kitchen with two BBQs, and it’s a terrific spot for casual al fresco dining. In addition, there is a pétanque pitch, table football, mini billiard, a ping pong table, and badminton sets for a little friendly sporting competition.

The main building comprises a spacious communal lounge with breathtaking views of Lourmarin village and the Chateau of Lourmarin and a fully equipped kitchen with views of the garden and pool.

Couples or families with older children (12+ years)

Minimum Stay:
April, May, and September require a minimum stay of 4 nights.
In high season (June, July, and August), a minimum stay of 5 nights is required.

Long-term rentals are also available.

Rates (2023):
Rates are 190€ per night per apartment, including all linen and the end-of-stay cleaning, excluding the tourist tax (1.10 € per person/night). The rates include a welcome package.

Weekly apartment rentals are 1,300€ per week plus the tourist tax.

Notes:
An onsite property manager can answer questions and recommend day trips, restaurants, and unique excursions.

There is a secure entry gate and exterior cameras.

Each apartment has a dedicated parking space.

Common areas shared with other guests include the garden and pool area, the large living room, and the kitchen.

A washing machine and dryer are available for guests to use.

Unfortunately, due to the stairs to the apartments, the property is unsuitable for anyone with mobility challenges.
