Sparkling Rosé Cocktail a Pink Fizz is a Bubbly Summer Treat
Maison Mirabeau Wines · Taste · Wines and Spirits of ProvenceIt’s true that for many a gin and tonic is the “definition” of summer sipping. However, for those who are a bit tired of the old standard, Pink Fizz is a sparkling rosé cocktail with a festive flair. The drink is a creation for Mirabeau Wine by Lizzie King of Lizzie Loves Healthy. She created this refreshing drink with summer sunshine in mind, but it works well for any occasion.

Pink Fizz
This is a perfect drink to celebrate with, it’s fizzy and fresh and light with fresh fruit and prettiness to add pops of colour to any party or dinner table.
Ingredients
- 150 ml (5oz) La Folie Sparkling Rosé
- 30 ml (1oz) Offley Rosé Port
- handful raspberries
- 1 sprig fresh mint
Instructions
- Pour the Port into the bottom of a champagne flute with a couple of fresh or frozen raspberries (strawberries work too if you’ve got them instead).
- Pour over the chilled, sparkling rosé and gently mix with a spoon without losing too much fizz.
- Tear a sprig of mint off and add to the glass as garnish. Sip immediately.
Notes
Do add ice if you need to. Lizzie says, 'I prefer this undiluted, and well chilled to start with."

Provence in the City: Simply Provence Wines
May 6, 2016
Contributor blog post by Jill Barth: I attended Provence in the City, hosted by Vins de Provence. Over 25 winemakers met with wine industry and media folks at the Public Hotel’s historic Pump Room in Chicago. It was a gorgeous spring-like day in typically chilly-in-February Chicago. The afternoon’s wine was offered alongside a buffet-in-courses …Continue reading here for …
How is rosé wine made in Provence
January 11, 2016
Contributor blog post by Mirabeau Wine: Rosé wine in Provence is made using red grapes, serious timing and oodles of expertise. Interestingly, Provence rosé started life as a by-product of red wine. It was originally made by bleeding off the pale juice so that the rest of the tank would create a more concentrated red wine. …
The First Ever Cotignac Rosé Festival
October 27, 2016
About a year ago I slowly began talking to the Mayor’s office about hosting a bijou village event, celebrating rosé and the summer spirit that’s so unique in our beautiful village of Cotignac. The idea is certainly not totally original and a handful of other villages host similar fêtes, yet we had never really done …
