Rose et Marius is a luxury perfume house and home décor brand based in Aix-en-Provence. Founder Magali Fleurquin-Bonnard named the company after her grandmother, Rose, and as a tribute to Provence. Fleurquin-Bonnard’s inspiration for the exquisitely designed product line originates from childhood memories, at the family’s country home in Puget sur Argens (in the Var), and her grandmother’s perfume. After completing studies in commerce and an MBA in luxury marketing, Fleurquin-Bonnard worked with high-end fashion brands including Piaget, Kenzo and Christian Lacroix.

Fragrances and Memories

Work experience and extensive international travel fueled her desire to create a unique “House of Perfume” based in Provence. Rose et Marius products launched in October 2012. The enduring fragrances of Provence and the interior design features of the 17th-century bastide continue to guide Fleurquin-Bonnard’s creativity.

Take a walk in the Provencal countryside and inhale the seasonal floral and herbal aromas. This stroll is the start of a perfume journey. Rose et Marius’ fragrances such as “a midsummer’s night under the fig tree” capture the essence of nature in the region. Arriving at a final scent requires detailed collaboration with master perfume makers in Grasse. Just imagine what it took to settle on the ultimate bouquet for “siesta in a sunlit home.”

Exquisite Designs

However, the perfumed air of Provence is only part of the Rose et Marius story. Fleurquin-Bonnard has designed a line of candles, diffusers, soaps and home décor items from the starting point of her grandmother’s home. Motifs from the house, including a black and white tile floor, became the departure point for exquisite Limoges porcelain candle holders, and an exclusive collaboration with Christian Lacroix.
