Cooking Classes at Cuisine de Provence the Place to Learn Provencal Recipes

We have just returned from a wonderful time in Sablet. Windsor neighbors Ed and Gwen and Bob and Darlene traveled with us. We were on the go every day but spent most evenings at home. We took day trips, hiked through villages, visited with French family, shopped the markets, caught up with friends and ate a lot of great food accompanied by excellent wines and of course took lots of pictures.

This is a small cooking school based out of her kitchen in Vaison la Romaine. The class size is intentionally limited so that everyone has a chance to get “hands on” with the preparation of the items on the menu. Don’t think for a minute that Cuisine de Provence is a secret. Rick Steves’ mentions her cooking classes in his guide to “Provence and the French Riviera.”

Michel and Shirley, live in wine country, in Windsor, California. They have a full family with two beautiful daughters and five amazing grandchildren. Michel's day job is as CEO of Chancellor Health Care, a company which provides housing and services to older adults.

Previously a co-owner of a popular French bistro called Bistro des Copains located in Western Sonoma County California. The Bistro was closed in early 2015, after nine years!

In 2008, after searching for years and visiting many houses they bought a 17th century stone village house in the medieval village of Sablet which is in the Vaucluse region of Provence France.
