Where to Eat in Eygalières Village Restaurants and Gourmet Treats

The village of Eygalières continues to be one of the jewels in the Alpilles. Despite the town’s footprint growth in the last decade, Eygalères retains its old-world charm. Unlike other Alpilles villages, Eygalières has few retail opportunities for clothing, books, and gift items. However, there is a baker, butcher, cheese store and plenty of places to eat and drink.

Below is an update on where to eat in Eygalières and places to buy gourmet supplies.

Cafe de la Place Eygalieres Local Restaurants

The following list of cafés and restaurants in Eygalières is a reference guide (you can be the critic). The restaurants are listed in the order they are situated on Rue de la République, running from the top of the street near the church towards the Marie (Town Hall) unless otherwise noted.

They serve ice cream if you need a mid-afternoon snack. Café du Centre is now the place for cocktails, and they will let you enjoy takeaway pizza from the food truck as long as you order drinks. Go for a coffee or a drink; they don’t serve much food and salty nibbles—open daily.

Maison Hache Restaurant Eygalières

Maison Hache—Michelin 1*—L’art de la table is part of the Maison Hache experience and the chef’s philosophy that the food has a feature role. However, it needs to be surrounded by the right presentation. Elegant artisanal charger plates in a biscuit-finish ceramic are hand-embossed with thyme, rosemary, and other herbes de Provence. Each course on the menu communicates regional flavours and traditions without being overwhelmed by heavy décor.
