Cream of Mushroom Soup
This soup (like many) is really easy to make, gather the ingredients together and you can enjoy a hot bowl of soup in under an hour.
Ingredients
- 20 White mushrooms
- 1 leek
- 2 potatoes
- 1/2 onion
- 1 garlic clove
- 60 g (2 oz) whipping cream
- 1 pinch nutmeg
- 2 tbsp butter
- salt and pepper
Instructions
- Clean all your vegetables.
- Peel the potatoes, cut everything into small cubes.
- Sweat the onion, garlic, leek in butter for 5 minutes, add the mushrooms and potatoes, cover with water, salt and pepper and cook 30 minutes.
- Blend to get a smooth soup, add the cream and bring to a boil.
- Serve with crusty bread and enjoy!
