Poetry in Painting: Joseph Inguimberty at Musée Regards de Provence
Artists Inspired by Provence · Guest Post · InspireHe is not an artist I had ever heard of, but I came away impressed by this discovery courtesy of the Musée Regards de Provence.
Joseph Inguimberty was born in Marseille back in 1896. Here, one of his early works captured the scenes in the docks of his home town.
This artist’s works from Marseille to Vietnam. There are several painting from the region depicting the natural scenery in the Alpilles and the Côte d’Azur. There are 80 works in total and the show runs until November 12, 2017.
