France is also the place with countless opportunities to try some downright strange things like sea urchins or oursin.
On Sundays in February, there is a festival in the seaside town of Carry-le-Rouet called le Fete de l’oursin et du coquillage or les dimanches du mois de l’oursin et du coquillage it is a tasting feast of sea urchins and other shellfish.
