Magical Lavender
Spotting a lavender field in flower for the first time is magical, but it’s the fragrance that is heavenly. The tiny plants stretch towards the horizon, like small purple streams. It’s little wonder why you see so many images of people posing against this stunning backdrop. Lavender fields, cobalt blue skies and a glass (or two) of Provencal wine. Has a trip to Provence to see the lavender fields been on your travel bucket list for a while? Book now!

Lavender Tour June 2020
Travel specialist Emily Durand is the founder of Your Private Provence (YPP). Her small-group lavender tours have been sellouts every year. Emily is an American who has lived in Provence for over 20 years. She designs authentic Provencal experiences for her clients.

This year’s YPP Lavender & Cultural Tour runs from June 27 – July 3rd. The scented ribbons of lavender plants are your chance for stunning photos-ops. However, Provence has more to offer to its visitors than lavender, and this YPP tour is designed to include some of these places of interest.

Unpack and settle into the delightful 4-star hotel located in the heart of the historic town of l’Isle sur la Sorgue. Known for its busy Sunday morning market, l’Isle sur la Sorgue is a magnet for antique lovers with some 200+ dealers. There are still 15 old water wheels that turn lazily as the Sorgue River meanders by the town centre, but at one time these were vital to the industrial heart of the town (read more about the history here).

What is a trip to Provence without a chance to sample wines from Châteauneuf-du-Pape? No need to worry the YPP tour includes a visit to this winemaking region for wine tasting and to discover the town’s historical roots.
Book Your Spot
Hurry there are only two (2) spots left.
This YPP tour is as well-balanced as some of the Rhône Valley wine blends. It’s your chance to “Tour Provence with a perfect mix of culture and lavender.” Enjoy the tantalizing flavours of Provencal cuisine prepared by a local chef. Visit Orange and marvel at the city’s amazing Roman theatre. Discover the charming perched villages of the Luberon and the chic town of St Remy de Provence, in the Alpilles, where Vincent Van Gogh painted some of his famous canvases. All of that with enough downtime to return home re-energized!

BOOK EARLY! Due to the popularity of this itinerary, book your spot on the 2020 early Lavender & Cultural Tour. For additional information or to contact Emily
