Local Painter Raphael Ponson at Musee Regards de Provence
Artists Inspired by Provence · Guest Post · InspireI hadn’t heard of Raphaël Ponson before visiting the exhibition at Marseille’s Musee Regards de Provence, but I thoroughly enjoyed seeing his work from the 19th century; it gives us an insight into the region in its pre-modern tranquility.
The Vieux Port is shown as being a bustling centre this exhibit at Musee Regards de Provence, a place that is worth visiting for the light-filled gallery space and lunch or a coffee in the Le Regards Café.

Contemporary Artist Ai Weiwei Show at MuCEM in Marseille
July 27, 2018
Ai Weiwei and Marseille This is a highly political show—and highly personal, too.
