Fiona Leishman
Originally from Scotland, Fiona Leishman is a lifelong lover of France. She graduated with a degree in French and Marketing (which included a summer of study in Nice), followed by a spell working in Lyon.
Back in Scotland, an exciting opportunity led to Fiona to co-founding and running what became a Michelin-starred restaurant. From very modest beginnings, Braeval Old Mill quickly emerged as one of the country’s top culinary destinations. And as a restaurateur, Fiona was always aware of an inextricable link with France - with its rich culinary heritage, fabulous wines and wonderful produce.
After Braeval and then many hectic years of living the corporate life in London, she took some time out to recharge. As always, France continued to call to Fiona, whispering in her ear and beckoning her “home”. With the result that today, she is living in the beautiful Lubéron Valley in Provence.
Fiona adores Provence for the food, the wonderful scenery, the convivial way of life, the weather and, most of all, the language. This food-lover is delighted by new ideas and opportunities in France to combine her love of good food, restaurant experiences and a keen interest in writing and photography, whilst also drawing on corporate experience to collaborate with businesses and other entrepreneurs to develop their communications strategies.
La vie est vraiment belle en Provence!
