Why Locals Love Eygalières: Restaurant Dining Options and Food Providers
Eygalières Old Village Carolyne Kauser-Abbott · Restaurant Recommendations · TasteThe village of Eygalières remains one of the jewels in the Alpilles. There are many reasons to visit and fall in love with Eygalières, starting with its authentic Provençal charm. Unlike other Alpilles villages, Eygalières has only a few retail opportunities for clothing, books, and gift items. However, there is a baker, a butcher, a primeur (fruit and vegetable), and a cheese store, as well as plenty of places to eat and drink.
Below is an update on where to eat in Eygalières and places to buy gourmet food supplies. Please use this list of cafés and restaurants in Eygalières as a reference guide. The restaurants are listed in the order they are situated on Rue de la République, running from the top of the street near the church towards the Marie (Town Hall), unless otherwise noted.

Maison Hache—L’art de la table is an integral part of the Maison Hache experience, reflecting the chef’s philosophy that food takes a central role in the dining experience. However, it needs to be presented in the right way. Elegant artisanal charger plates in a biscuit-finish ceramic are hand-embossed with thyme, rosemary, and other herbes de Provence. Each course on the menu communicates regional flavours and traditions without being overwhelmed by heavy décor.
