Enter to Win a Trouvailles Provence Box it’s a Lucky Find

Born with wanderlust in her veins, Tina Sequeira now lives in Canada after a time in the Middle East. Having travelled extensively from a young age, she says that traipsing around airports is feels like a second skin. Many travellers will never fly from Toronto to Dubai, but Tina undertook the journey at age 15. Covid-19 lockdowns and a new baby allowed Tina to launch her subscription box company – Trouvailles (trou•vaye).

The current Trouvailles box is a Provence theme, and Tina is giving one package away to a lucky winner. Scroll down for details on how to enter this contest before August 16th.

Gift Box Idea

Trouvailles in French means a happy discovery – a lucky find.

Tina shared that she wanted her subscription boxes to elicit the feeling of chancing upon items on your travels that are novel or unfamiliar and yet delightful. It might be something you unexpectedly find at a market stall or a small corner shop. Just imagine the feeling when your best friend returns from a trip, bringing you a hoard of strange and beautiful gifts from a faraway place. Trouvailles launched in October 2020, and the first box – a German Christmas – was released in November 2020.

“Last year when pandemic lockdowns were announced in March 2020, I was 7 months pregnant with serious cabin fever and sympathetic to hear everyone talking about their travel plans being cancelled. I wanted to help people experience travel and foreign cultures in a real tangible way, so I started researching and planning. Even once my baby was born, I couldn’t let go of the idea, so during countless nursing sessions and late-nights, I’d do bits and pieces of work on my phone. I’ll never forget the time I was negotiating terms with a Turkish supplier on speakerphone while changing a diaper!” ~ Tina Sequeira

Trouvailles is currently a bi-monthly service with a total of six boxes per year. Subscribers can choose to sign up for a bi-monthly plan, a half year plan, or a full year.
