Beatrice Carrot is a French native who relocated with her husband by chance and on a whim from San Francisco to Toulon, the home of the French Navy (arsenal de Toulon), in 2021. They both fell in love with the city, the region, and their beautiful new home. With her four adult children spread out across two continents, Beatrice dedicates her time to offering home immersion classes for French learners and bespoke guided tours in French or English. She also manages their summer rental properties.

When Beatrice is not teaching, sharing her passion for cooking and everything Provence, she explores new places on her Honda 500 Rebel motorcycle or in her kayak! Beatrice’s articles cover many of her discoveries in the South of France.
