Paint and Tour Provence with Tessa Baker this Fall

Artist Tessa Baker has finalized the details for two painting tours this fall. Now is your chance to visit the region and explore your artistic side. Join an intimate group of other creative types wanting to improve their painting skills in Provence with Tessa’s coaching.

September 4 – 11, 2021: Based near the ochre cliffs of Roussillon in the Luberon Valley. The tour itinerary includes visits to the Alpilles to the hilltop castle of Les Baux de Provence, the Carrieres de Lumieres and a chance to explore charming Saint Remy.

October 2 – 9, 2021: The second “Paint Provence with Tess” trip runs from her farmhouse in Lorgues. You will explore the beautiful Var countryside, ancient villages and Provence’s Grand Canyon, the Gorges de Verdon. Saint Tropez and the Côte d’Azur are also on the itinerary.

“We go to so many beautiful places to paint, we eat fantastic food, and we are together every day all day. We have all made such good friends during the trips each time it is hard to say goodbye.” ~ Tessa Baker

Why Book with Tessa Baker?

Tessa has a twinkle in her eyes and a warm, comfortable style. Meeting her for the first time, I felt like I had known her forever. Born in London, Tessa lived with her parents and four sisters in the English countryside village of Rousham. Her creative education included Chelsea School of Art and later at Slade School of Fine Arts. Tessa’s artistic interests sparked working with her mother on theatre set designs. However, her father determined that she needed a practical profession and sent her to Switzerland to train as a chef. Both educational paths have served her well, she has painted for over 30 years, and she has proven culinary talents. Read more about Tessa’s background here.
