A French Collection Founder Launches a New Podcast
Carolyne Kauser-Abbott · Inspire
Annette Charlton admits she is a Francophile to the core. She is also the founder of A French Collection (blog) and now a new podcast series. For a decade, the Charlton family – Annette, her husband, and three children – split their time between Newcastle in Australia and Brittany in France.
The allure of French country living led to buying a second home in France, a search that began before Annette and her family had ever set foot in France. In 2009, they purchased a stone cottage in rural Brittany. Then the real fun began. Annette documents their adventures and mishaps in A French Collection and via her beautiful My French Collection Box subscription service (read more here).
“Living part time between our homes in Australia and France over the last ten years has given my family the chance to see and do lots of things that we’d never dreamt of even doing before we bought our French holiday home in our farming village of Brittany.” ~ Annette Charlton
Now on the Air
Annette shared that launching a podcast series took much thought and coaxing from her friends, but ‘A French Collection’ is now live. The weekly podcasts cover France + All Things French. Enjoy a short audio diversion with Annette and her guests. Discover some of Annette’s favourite places and adventures in France. These fun escapism podcasts are available on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Amazon Music, Stitcher and Google Listen, with more channels coming in the future.

Topics cover buying a home, maintaining a property, special places in Paris and other parts of the continent. Read more and pick your favourite listening channel here.
