Cent Cinq welcomes guests for short and long stays all year round. These fully renovated self-catering apartments are in an 18th-century townhouse in Apt, a vibrant market town in the heart of the Luberon.

The Apartments:

Three independent, self-catering apartments. Apartments One (first floor) and Two (second floor) are larger, with a bedroom and bathroom, an open plan kitchen and a living area with sofa bed, and these sleep a maximum of three (3) guests. Apartment Three is a smaller duplex; on the first floor, there is a living area and kitchen, and a bedroom and bathroom on the second floor. In addition, there is an internal courtyard for all guests and storage for bicycles. The accommodation’s tranquillity is essential to the owners, so they don’t accept pets or children under 14.

Staying in Apt:

Much of Apt’s town centre, including Cent Cinq’s street, is pedestrianized. The restaurants and cafés are just a short walk away, but not close enough to be heard!

On Saturdays, spend the morning enjoying the excellent market throughout the streets and squares of Apt. If you like people-watching, plan to arrive early for a café table. Explore the market stands with a wide range of fresh, seasonal produce. The Apt market is one of the area’s largest, and you will find everything, including Mediterranean fish, paella, and North African dishes alongside traditional Provencal fabrics. Stock up on a few ingredients for a meal or two later in the week.

Cent Cinq’s owners, Jen and Chris, are wonderful hosts and always happy to help guests with ideas for sightseeing, avoiding the crowds, and some of their favourite spots for wine tasting. Here is a sample itinerary for a holiday week in Provence. Imagine arriving on a Friday evening and starting early the next day on a lovely excursion.

Ideal for:
Couples who want to explore the region. Friends who are travelling together.

Rates (2025):
Rates vary depending on the season, the number of guests, and the length of stay.

The rates for one person start at 60€/night.

Longer stays of up to 90 days are also accepted at a discounted rate.

Minimum stay:
The minimum number of days varies by season. The owners accept short stays from two (2) nights in winter to three (3) in summer, so please get in touch for more details. There is no set changeover day for the rentals.

Notes:
There are about 20 steps to the first floor and another 20 to the second. There are handrails, and the entry and stairs are well-lit.

No pets, no smoking, and no children under 14.

“This is my second time staying at Cent Cinq and it was like going back home. I stayed in Apartment 1 again and Jen and Chris have literally thought of everything you may need for your stay. Apt by the way is the perfect location to explore the Luberon region of Provence in France. I did not have a car and I was able to visit about 8 different villages while I was there using the Zou bus system. I did my research ahead of time and it can be done! The bus stop/bus station is an easy walk from the apartment. I really had a longer time to explore Apt this time and it really captured my heart. “I stayed 2 weeks in Apt in the Cent Cinq accommodation. I wish i had more superlatives about my experience. The town and surrounding area and villages is outstanding with myriad wonderful places to explore. Apt itself is fantastic and the Cent Cinq apartment (I was in n°1) is right in the center of town. The cobbled streets hum with life and various markets and stalls. Coffee (excellent quality) outlets abound. The boulangeries are plentiful and their wares amazing. The apartment is just fantastic with excellent facilities. Chris & Jens ethos permeates the accommodation: using local soaps, using time-tested cooling options (instead of aircon), promoting local artisans, brilliant. Literature on the town as well as surrounding area is extensive and very informative. I have encouraged friends and family in the UK and New Zealand to seek out this wonderful place and accommodation and i hope to similarly encourage readers of this post similarly. “My three-week holiday in Apt, Provence, was made exceptional by a beautiful stay in Cent Cinq Apartments. Located in the historic town centre of Apt, it is in the perfect location for exploring the beauty of the Luberon Valley. My apartment (one of two) is a gem, nestled amid the charm of local shops and attractions and within 20 – 40 minutes’ drive of anywhere in the Luberon Valley. One highlight is being completely surrounded by the renowned Saturday morning market just below in the surrounding streets, an absolute treat for anyone who enjoys a bit of shopping and wonderful local produce. My apartment itself was nothing short of breathtaking. From the spacious living area with its high ceilings, large windows and shutters, comfortable furnishings, generous dining area and well-equipped kitchen to the bedroom adorned with a luxurious queen-size bed, delicious linen, plus immaculate bathroom, every detail exudes comfort and character.

Furthermore, additional features like the family games room, well-equipped laundry and lovely courtyard make it stand out, ensuring a truly unforgettable stay. Absolutely everything is thought out, well-considered and provided to ensure a comfortable and memorable stay. What especially set this experience apart for me was the warm and attentive owners who made my stay not just comfortable but just exceptional with their friendliness and helpfulness. “Jen and Chris’s place in Apt has everything going for it. Located in the middle of Apt, it is a great base to explore the Vaucluse. You can walk for meals out, shopping and groceries. Very high-quality renovation of the apartment and fitted with high-level furniture, bed linens and kitchen gear. Their documentation of how their rental unit functions as well as features of the town and surrounding area are the best of any rental in my three months stay in France. They have even developed an app for your phone so you can access information while on the road. Very informative information to help make your stay the best it can be. They have a separate internet site with the same infomation as well as paper documentation at the apartment. “Cent-Cinq was fabulous! The apartment was extremely comfortable and accommodating and also beautifully decorated. It’s even more beautiful in person! The kitchen was well equipped for cooking, the bathroom was nicely renovated with a shower and soaking tub, and the bed was very comfy. We enjoyed the many little touches, such as the cold bottle of wine in the fridge, candles with a lighter by the bathtub, and bedside USB outlets. You can see the hosts have spent much time and effort to ensure their guests enjoy their stay and feel at home. The town, Apt, is very charming and is close to many other towns and sites. The first morning we woke up to the delightful Saturday market right outside our window. There was actually a cheese seller in front of the house door!
