It is your holiday in Provence; my job is to help make the most of every moment! (Jane Satow)
Nearly ten years ago, Jane Satow and her husband Basil let a dream become a reality. Driven by a sense of adventure and love of French culture, they decided to move to a small Provencal village, raise their kids and grow tomatoes. That is exactly what they have done. Basil, Jane’s husband of 18 years, has an eight-hectare tomato farm near their home in Eygalières.
Introducing young children to a foreign country and embarking on a farmhouse renovation may not be every person’s dream of living in Provence. It is for Jane, who is always smiling while juggling kids’ activities and managing her own business Provence Cultural Tours.
Passionate about culture, and food Jane has developed unique tour itineraries in Provence. Booking a Provence Cultural Tour with Jane means discovering exceptional historic sites, scenic drives and wonderful restaurants.
With her background as a food professional, Jane has spent countless hours meeting local producers and farmers, researching recipes, tasting and studying the unique terroir in Provence. She imparts her regional knowledge with clients during market tours, in cooking classes and on wine tasting tours.
Provence Cultural Tours can be tailored to your interests. As your private guide, Jane will help you plan your itinerary to ensure you get the most out of your stay in Provence. Whether you are interested in visiting historical monuments, markets, shopping or a scenic hike, Jane can structure the tour around your interests and try to include something for everyone in the group.
Jane is offering readers of Perfectly Provence a 10% discount on a Provence Cultural Tour in 2015! Just mention that you discovered her via Perfectly Provence.
