We are from the UK and had been considering retiring to this region but a recent WSJ article goes into how the EU is threatening the lavender industry with regulation. https://www.wsj.com/articles/lavender-oil-may-carry-new-health-warning-in-europe-adding-to-french-farmers-worries-11659877203 As you know lavender and lavender oil go back to the Romans. What is your take on the future of lavender in France? THANK YOU>
Hello, Thank you for taking the time to read Perfectly Provence and write a note. That is an interesting article in the WSJ. I am no expert, but there are many farmers who grow lavender organically, so that might be helpful in the future.
