Anchored to its past as an elegant Provencal farmhouse in the Luberon, Les Olivettes includes four (4) spacious rental apartments. This property is private yet only a 4-minute walk from the centre of Lourmarin, a lively village with cafés, galleries, and a notable market on Friday mornings. The apartments have all the necessary amenities for a self-catered holiday base for two (2) guests.

The Apartments:

Les Olivettes is a Provencal paradise in Lourmarin. The suites are decorated in traditional Provencal style with modern touches. All four apartments have the necessary amenities for a self-catered holiday base.

The four (4) self-catered apartments accommodate two (2) guests and have terraces, large living/dining rooms, and well-equipped kitchens. The kitchenettes include Nespresso coffee machines, fruit juicers, toasters, kettles, ovens/microwaves, and refrigerators with small freezer compartments. In addition, each apartment has a colour TV, and Les Olivettes has fibre optic cable and free WiFi. The apartments are all air-conditioned and have private terraces and bathrooms with walk-in showers. The pool house has an air-conditioned fitness room.

Decorated in shades of cream, Gardenia is one of the apartments at Les Olivettes on the ground floor. The air-conditioned apartment has a well-equipped kitchenette, a bathroom with a walk-in shower and a separate toilet, and a living and bedroom area with a queen-size bed (1.60m x 2.00m). The private terrace with a magnificent view of Lourmarin and its castle is ideal for breakfast or a glass of rosé.

Lavande is up one level from Gardenia. When entering the apartment via the main living room, you arrive at the mezzanine with a cozy sitting area with two (2) comfortable fauteuils. Two French doors give access to a furnished south-facing terrace with a garden view. The next room has a well-equipped kitchenette, a dining area, a sitting area and a flat-screen TV. The bathroom has a walk-in shower, a toilet, and a wash basin. The separate bedroom, with a view of the olive trees in the garden, has a king-size bed (1.80m x 2.00m) that can be converted into two (2) single beds.

Jasmin is named after this sweet-smelling plant in Provence and Les Olivettes’s garden. The apartment with a private entrance has a Provencal feel because of the warm ochre tones. When you enter the well-equipped kitchenette, the bathroom adjacent has a walk-in shower, a toilet, and a wash basin. The living/bedroom/ dining area (with a flat-screen TV) gives access to a private furnished terrace with breathtaking views of the castle and village of Lourmarin, which is a perfect relaxing spot. Lourmarin is considered one of the most beautiful villages in France.

Rose is the largest and most luxurious of the four apartments. This apartment has a private entrance and a lovely furnished terrace looking out into the garden and the pool. The apartment is painted in cream and warm grey tones. A separate bedroom (king-size bed, 1.80m x2.00m) with a flat-screen TV and plenty of storage space. The bathroom has a walk-in shower, wash basin, and toilet and has its own washing machine and dryer. There is a small intermediary kitchenette to make coffee or read a book and an additional fridge. The living/dining area/well-equipped kitchenette has French doors leading to the private terrace, and on the other side, you can enjoy a beautiful view of the village of Lourmarin and its castle.

The Property:

Mature olive trees line the entry to Les Olivettes – a classic welcome to Provence. The property includes several seating areas for enjoying the Mediterranean garden with lavender, roses, jasmine, and other native plants. During the hotter months, the large heated swimming pool surrounded by sunbeds is a tempting way to spend part of the day.

The pool house has a summer kitchen with two BBQs, making it a terrific spot for casual al fresco dining. In addition, there is a pétanque pitch, table football, mini billiards, a ping pong table, and badminton sets for a little friendly sporting competition.

The main building comprises a spacious communal lounge with breathtaking views of Lourmarin village and the Chateau of Lourmarin and a full kitchen with views of the garden and pool.

Couples or families with older children (12+ years)

Minimum Stay:
April, May, early June, and September require a minimum stay of 3 nights.
In high season (mid-June to August 31), a minimum stay of 5 nights is required.

Long-term rentals are also available.

Rates (2025):
Below are the rates per night per apartment.

290€ for Rose
270€ for Lavande
250€ for Gardenia and Jasmin

Stay for seven (7) nights and get a 10% discount.

These rates exclude the tourist tax, which is as follows: Gardenia, Lavande, and Jasmin 1,75€ per person/night, and Rose 2,75€ per person/night.

The pricing includes a welcome package, all linens, and end-of-stay cleaning. However, for short stays of less than six (6) nights, there is a cleaning fee of 60€.

Notes:
An onsite property manager can answer questions and recommend day trips, restaurants, and unique excursions.

There is a secure entry gate and exterior cameras.

Private parking on the premises is available, and each apartment has a dedicated parking space.

The garden and pool area, the large living room, and the main kitchen are shared with other guests.

A washing machine and dryer are available for guests to use.

Unfortunately, due to the stairs to the apartments, the property is unsuitable for anyone with mobility challenges.
