Best French Forever Giveaway a Time for Wellness La Box!

Cynthia Moos, the founder of Best French Forever, is giving away one Wellness à la Française box to a lucky winner. Provence’s Alpilles region and its villages remain close to Cynthia’s heart even after several years of living in the United States. She returned to France for a family visit in 2020, which sparked the idea of launching “La Box.” It is a quarterly subscription box service that delivers Provence to your doorstep.

The giveaway details are below – bonne chance!

What is Best French Forever?

While not everyone can travel to France, Cynthia decided she could deliver a bit of Provence in a beautiful package. So, she launched the service in 2021 with La Box Été, hoping that her gift box recipients experience the South of France the way she remembers from her childhood.

Can you explain the La Box concept?

Every season, Best French Forever curates and ships a new box for the lover of all things French. La Box is more than a lovely collection of handcrafted products from Provence: it’s an experience for the senses – scents, tastes, and textures. Best French Forever also offers themed gift boxes all year round: La Box Wellness (a moment of self-care, à la française) and La Box Art de la Table (for the person who loves to host others).

Does the theme change quarterly?

For the subscription box, every new collection is a unique experience. We like to pair it with the time of the year for a seasonal moment in Provence, right at home. For example, our last Summer Box’s theme was “Picnic in a lavender field” to honor the idyllic lavender season from late June through July. It included a blanket, an olive wood board with gourmet spreads, an organic lavender sachet and moisturizing dry oil.

What can we expect to find in a box?

Each collection is an invitation to infuse a little bit of the Provençal art de vivre into our daily life. You can expect to find home decor items handmade by artisans and artists of Provence, linens, bathroom essentials, kitchen utensils, cosmetics, and soaps. Practical and beautiful lifestyle items of the everyday!

Additionally, each box includes the stories of the artisans and small brands. These features might describe the making process of their product or why they are doing it. I find these artisans inspirational and feel very fortunate to be able to tell their stories.

How do you select the products and partners you work with for La Box?

It depends. Sometimes I have an idea of specific items I’d like to feature to complete a collection, and I begin searching. At other times I discover an artisan’s crafts, fall in love with them, and work with them to include them in a future box. Because I value ecology, inclusion and equity, I always make it a point to select items that are made sustainably and respect the planet and its people.

What is Wellness à la Française?

Wellness à la Française is this idea to take a moment to slow down and rest: through journaling or simply laying down and permitting yourself to only focus on your wellbeing.

Best French Forever Box-Wellness-

Growing up in France, I noticed a difference when I moved to the U.S. regarding how we approach life and the rapport to work and productivity. In France, you’d often hear we don’t live to work; we work to live. However, I believe it is in the Provençal DNA to embrace the slow life and be content with what we have.

La Box Wellness à la Française is a reminder of the importance of self-care, an invitation to create a simple moment of “bien-être” by surrounding yourself with simple yet beautiful, soothing items in a minimalist way.
