If you are looking for a 2-bedroom holiday rental on the French Riviera, Plage Privée in Villefranche-sur-Mer is the answer. This sunny waterfront apartment has panoramic views of the bay of Villefranche, Cap Ferrat, Cap de Nice and the Old Town. Recently remodelled Plage Privée is on the top floor of a 1950s art deco building at the entrance to Villefranche’s main beach – Plage des Mariniers.

This south-facing apartment has two large, breathtaking picture windows and a French door leading to the terrace. Even during the winter, sunshine bathes the space most of the day. There are two ways to enter the apartment: from the waterfront, with three (3) flights of external stairs, or from above, from a pedestrian lane without having to manage the stairs.

Designed for someone who loves to cook, the kitchen has all the requirements, including a dishwasher, microwave, gas stovetop and full-sized refrigerator. There is also a gas barbecue on the terrace. When you are ready to eat, the dining table accommodates six (6) adults.

The master bedroom has a queen-sized bed and plenty of closet and drawer space. An ensuite bathroom includes a large stall shower, more storage and great lighting. Slightly smaller but equally comfortable, the second bedroom has a double bed and ensuite bathroom. The bathroom includes an inviting Villeroy & Boch soaking tub with a shower.

Since outdoor dining is possible much of the year in Villefranche, the terrace at Plage Privée is ideal for taking advantage of the weather. Enjoy an aperitif while the sun sets and your dinner cooks on the barbeque.

Plage des Mariniers is one of the best places in the world to swim or enjoy a walk along the one-kilometre beach road leading to various stunning coastal walks. Villefranche’s Old Town is a 3-minute from the apartment along the waterfront quai, where you find numerous restaurants, a boulangerie, a grocery store, a butcher, a fresh market and many cafés and bars.
