It was a chance to visit Marseille at a leisurely pace and enjoy the sights of le Panier – one of the oldest districts in the city. This is how Phoebe describes le Panier (where they discovered some of Marseille’s street art) “There’s evidence of renovation going on but it still retains a faded, well-lived in feeling. It oozes charm and feels like a separate village within a city.”
