Domaine de Palerme a 15-hectare property that has remained intact since the manor house (bastide) was constructed for the Duke of Palerme in 1736. The restored three-story main house with its lofty ceilings and grand windows retains that period elegance. Discrete is a good descriptor for this property located only a couple kilometres from the heart of lively L’Isle sur la Sorgue.
Owners, Eric and Karin, moved to Domaine de Palerme with the intent of running a bed and breakfast and welcoming international guests to the jewel of the Palerme property. Domaine de Palerme offers comfortable accommodation and a fabulous venue for gatherings and celebrations with family and friends.
The main house has seven (7) spacious bedrooms, most with king-size beds and la ferme pigeonnier (smaller farmhouse cottage) can accommodate an additional six (6) people. The property is also available to rent in its entirety for a large group, and it can accommodate up to 20 guests for a minimum seven-night stay.
Some guests book Bed and Breakfast (B&B) accommodation for only a few nights, using le Domaine de Palerme as the base for their Provencal exploration.
For meals, other than breakfast, guests are free to use the central kitchen or the outdoor plancha (griddle) for cooking. Don’t feel like cooking on your holiday? Eric and Karin will arrange for lunch or dinner in the main dining room (the Orangery) prepared by a local chef.
Couples or groups of family or friends. The rental is a perfect location for reunions and special occasions.

What their guests say:
Two families with four children under 6 spent a glorious week in August at this wonderful house.
The bedrooms and living space are as beautiful as the photos imply and the swimming pool, with its convenient pool house, is sublime. However, the standout feature of this house is the stunning and expansive grounds. The children had huge fun creating fairytale games amongst the trees and the sheer size allowed us privacy and peace. Our host, Éric, was a delightfully unassuming chap with such a wealth of knowledge of the area.
We would thoroughly recommend the wine tasting. Our sommelier pitched the evening perfectly and introduced us to new wines as well as pairing them with fabulous food from Maison Moga.
