B&B La Parare is an entirely renovated stone farmhouse from the 17th century – “Between Zen and Provence.” The house has vaulted rooms, a tower, various exterior terraces and a large garden with lots of little corners where all can find their little private heaven. Located only a 35-minute drive from the Nice Côte d’Azur Airport, this bed and breakfast is a holiday oasis not far away from the urban centre.
With a contemporary style, la Parare delivers both charm and authenticity. There are five (5) large bedrooms/suites each with a private entrance. Uniquely decorated, each guestroom includes a large ensuite bathroom, a sofa corner and a fireplace. The rooms are the Terrace room, Chapel room suite, the Tower room, Room no. 4 and the Garden room.
The front terrace has a heated swimming pool with a jet stream. For the cold season, there is also a sauna. Surrounding the property, you find beautiful scenery, with expansive vistas over the olive grove to the mountains. There are wonderful hiking opportunities straight from the garden.
Enjoy a plentiful breakfast each morning with homemade bread and jam, fresh orange juice, fruit, cake and fresh eggs. Every day there is a different dessert and, most importantly – freshly brewed coffee and a selection of teas. One or two nights a week, the owners organize dinners for guests who wish to dine on the property. Add some extra zen to your holiday by booking a massage (ordered in advance), and yoga retreats for groups can also be organized (in Swedish, English and German).
Cyclists are probably familiar with this area for the challenging hilly terrain including some of the famous climbs: Col de Turini, Grande Corniche between Nice and Menton (Italy), Col de la Madone, Col de Braus, Col d’Eze and Villefranche, Col de la Bonette, and Col de Vence among others.
Conveniently located a half-hour from downtown Nice, spend a day exploring the sites. La Parare is an easy driving distance from the coast and the mountains and all the lovely places there is to visit in the area: Monaco, Nice, Antibes, St Jean Cap Ferrat and many more.
The owners, Karin and Sydney, speak French, English, Dutch, Swedish and German.
