Journée du Livre a Book Lovers Paradise in Sablet

Beyond the wines which are classified Côtes-du-Rhône Villages Sablet for the red, white and rosé wines produced by the Sablet vignerons, Sablet is probably best known for its “Journée du Livre”. You ask what is the “Journée du Livre”? It is a book festival that takes place the 3rd weekend of July on the squares and streets of Sablet every year.

This July the dates have been moved to the 9-10th of July to accommodate the Tour de France schedule. Aside from books, you can also indulge in some wine tasting from local vintners.

In 2008, after searching for years and visiting many houses they bought a 17th century stone village house in the medieval village of Sablet which is in the Vaucluse region of Provence France.
