Dutch-born Sophia van Woensel-Mose and her family moved from London to the south of France in 2005 and now live in beautiful Aix-en-Provence. Sophia worked as an international finance lawyer in New York and London and although she loves both those cities, she does not miss the “rat race.” Instead she thoroughly enjoys the slower pace of life, quality food and perfect climate of Provence.

Sophia’s has always had a passion for property and interior design and in 2011 founded her property search business Provence Search. As a licensed French buyer’s agent she puts her legal and negotiation skills and love for French property to good use for her house hunting clients.

Sophia is tri-lingual English/French/Dutch and is licensed as a property professional under Carte Professionnelle (Transactions-sans maniement de fonds) Nº B14-5615 – Bouches du Rhône. She has a Dutch law degree (Leiden) and Juris Doctor and LL.M degrees from Duke University School of Law in the US (member of the New York Bar).
